Projects & process
How long does a typical project take?
Websites: 3–6 weeks. Custom dashboards / software: 6–12 weeks. AI integrations: 2–6 weeks. Larger builds get scoped in phases so you see progress every week.
How do you work — fixed-price or hourly?
New builds are fixed-scope, fixed-price after a discovery call so you know exactly what you’re getting. Ongoing care plans are monthly retainers with included hours that roll within the month.
Can you take over an existing project or codebase?
Yes — we do a short audit first to flag risk, then either continue iterating or scope a rebuild if the foundations need it. We’re comfortable inheriting Next.js, React, WordPress, Webflow, and a few legacy stacks.
Do you work with non-technical founders?
Most of our clients are non-technical. We translate the technology so you can make decisions with confidence, and we leave you with a CMS or admin so your team can update content without us.
Tech & tools
What stack do you build on?
Next.js + React + TypeScript on the frontend. Supabase / Postgres on the backend. Tailwind for styling. Vercel or Cloudflare for hosting. AI work uses Claude (Anthropic) and OpenAI as appropriate.
Do you handle hosting and deploys?
Yes — we set up production hosting, staging, CI/CD, monitoring, and analytics as part of every project. You own all the accounts; we’re just configured as collaborators.
What about SEO and performance?
Every site we ship targets Core Web Vitals “good” thresholds and has on-page SEO baked in (semantic markup, meta, sitemap, structured data). Ongoing SEO is its own care plan.
After launch
What happens after launch?
You get a clean handover (docs, accounts, runbook) and a support window included with the project. After that, most clients move onto a care plan for ongoing improvements, content updates, and new features.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
Yes — care plans include monthly hours for changes, content updates, monitoring, dependency updates, and small new features. Bigger work gets scoped separately.
What if something breaks?
Care plan clients get priority response. Without a plan, we still respond — but on a best-effort basis with hourly billing for emergency work.
